Transforming the region
The AgTech Symposium has been organised by the Local Enterprise Offices (LEO) in the South East Region including Tipperary, Kilkenny, Carlow, Wexford and Waterford in conjunction with Enterprise Ireland, Teagasc, Department of Agriculture, the Institutes of Technology, The Irish Farmers Journal, Agriforvalor, TSSG and industry.
Agri-Food and AgTech are recognised as key drivers of economic activity and job creation in
Ireland and this symposium will explore how the potential of AgTech in particular can be
maximised across the South & East and Mid-West Regions. The Symposium is funded
under the Government’s Action Plan for Jobs.
