The Green Panel aims to inform, inspire, and engage owner managers and their key staff in how they can implement Green technologies, processes and products to their business in order to be more competitive. 

Facilitated by journalist, broadcaster and presenter of RTE's Ear to the Ground, Helen Carroll, the event will feature a lively and dynamic discussion with leading entrepreneurs and experts in this sector:

Helen Carroll

A journalist with over 25 years experience, Helen Carroll is best known as a presenter on Ear to the Ground, RTE Television’s Farming and Food programme. She has produced, presented, reported and researched on national radio and television for both RTE and TV3. Her work in the print media has seen her write news, features, reviews and a weekly column for both local and national publications.

  • Ronan Murphy – Visiongreen Consultancy Ltd.

Prior to Co-Founding VisionGreen in 2019, Ronan worked with Tesco Ireland for 18 years predominantly working in Distribution, Logistics and Supply Chain delivering large scale change projects. Ronan developed and led the Distribution Supporting Future Growth Team in Tesco which delivered annual cost and efficiency projects that supported future growth of the business in Ireland.

Ronan is qualified to Green Belt Level in Lean Six Sigma, is a fully qualified Transport Manager (CMILT) and has a diploma in Business Management and Marketing. Ronan specialises in in process improvement, business strategy and project management.

  • Pat Amond – Carlow Toolmaking Services Ltd.

Having qualified as a toolmaker over thirty-five years ago, Pat possesses a wealth of experience in the precision engineering sector. He began his career as an apprentice in the multinational organisation Braun (now P&G), before establishing his own niche engineering company. As managing director of Carlow Toolmaking Services (CTS), he has aligned his engineering experience and his business acumen to develop an organisation which, for the twenty years, has provided services for both SME’s and MNC’s in the oral healthcare, automotive and medical device sectors, both in Ireland and abroad.

Jim is Business Advisor with LEO Carlow and has responsibility for the Green for Micro scheme within County Carlow.
