This course aims to provide participants with the skills, tools, and strategies to leverage LinkedIn for professional networking and career growth.

It will cover building a high-impact profile, expanding a valuable network, and engaging effectively.

Participants are required to bring a laptop with them for this course.

    • Writing an impactful headline and summary that attracts opportunities
    • Using the Featured section to showcase expertise and achievements
    • LinkedIn SEO: Optimising your profile for discoverability in searches
    • Improving personal branding through a professional profile
    • Using profile analytics to understand your reach and engagement.
  3. Strategic Networking on LinkedIn
    • Defining your networking goals: Quality vs. quantity of connections
    • Connecting vs. following: When and how to use them
    • Best practices for sending personalised connection requests
    • Leveraging alumni networks, industry groups, and mutual connections

    • LinkedIn Events & Utilising LinkedIn Live and Audio Events to grow your influence.

    • Why company pages matter for businesses and professionals
    • How to set up a company page effectively
    • Best practices for branding, logo, and cover images
    • How to post and engage as a company
    • Building followers and encouraging employee advocacy
    • Measuring success using LinkedIn Page Analytics
  3. Case Studies and Practical Exercises
    • Real-world examples of professionals leveraging LinkedIn for career and business growth
    • Hands-on exercises to improve participant profiles and networking strategies

Prerequisite: Participants should have gone through the basics of setting up a LinkedIn account and verified their account (this will be in the form of an email). The session will be very interactive with lots of practical exercises. Participants should have access to their LinkedIn account for the day. Ideally on a laptop via their browser – LinkedIn.com
