Minimising food waste is one of the easiest financial savings a food business can make. Food producers, pubs, cafes and restaurants can all adopt simple techniques which will have an immediate impact on their profitability.
This online workshop will look at the Optimization+ Programme which has already helped dozens of Carlow businesses reduce waste and save money. Participants will hear from Niall McManus, Earthroute, about how much food waste costs businesses, how to measure the cost to your business with the Touchstone tool. Stuart Nelson from Jigsaw will show how to adopt simple lean and green techniques to improve your business profitability. There will also be presentations from two Carlow businesses who have completed Optimization+ and are implementing techniques to reduce their waste and improve their bottom line.
This free workshop will take place from 8:30-9:30am on Thursday 10th March. Login details will be circulated to all registered participants the evening before the event
