About the Mentor

John Mc Kenna is a financial executive and chartered accountant with significant experience and skills in finance, business development, strategy and managing people gained within owner managed and start-up businesses over the past 25 years. His areas of expertise include accounts set-up, financial control, debt raising, restructuring, growth and cost cutting.

He has a proven track record in providing business mentoring with strong analytical, negotiation, relationship management, decision making and problem-solving skills.

John has worked with start-up and small businesses throughout his career - cutting costs, raising finance and improving information flows.

As an external loan assessor with Microfinance Ireland he has an intimate knowledge of the issues that arise on a daily basis for such enterprises.
