WOMEN IN BUSINESS NETWORKING EVENT IN ENNIS

Ennis, October 15th, 2015 – Energized Women in Business Networking Event took place on the 14th October in Ennis featuriWIB Oct15 (2)ng guest speaker Tracy Aspel from The Creative Institute. Tracy delivered “Two Heads are better than one” talk and encouraged participants to think differently about their business and look outside obvious solutions to the challenges they face. This talk focused on how networks such as Women in Business can be an ideal opportunity to share ideas and build some exciting new ideas from scratch.

Improvisation has several frameworks to help individuals harness the power of groups and using some simple rules, we can gather ideas quickly and efficiently. Several of these rules and frameworks was shown during her talk - group work helped everybody to do brainstorming in the more creative way, improvisation exercises helped to develop new ideas. Innovative approach was chosen to generate new ideas and learn new skills and techniques that benefit business creating an opportunity to apply them with networking colleagues first.

Local Enterprise Office Clare support women in business through a number of ways, one of which is the women in business network. The network provides women in business with a forum to network openly, share business contacts, knowledge and experience.
