Keynote Speaker

Chupi Sweetman, Founder & CEO of Chupi

Chupi Sweetman

The passion that has underpinned Chupi’s first successful decade in business stems from Founder and CEO Chupi Sweetman, who believes fervently that we can each tell our own story through the jewellery we wear. This pioneering and philanthropic leader has disrupted the industry: Chupi is a digital-first luxury brand operating a borderless business model whilst making each and every piece of its jewellery in Ireland. Being part of a better future for both the planet and its people is also of paramount importance. After a decade of working for the giants of commercial fashion – including TOPSHOP at the height of its success – Sweetman founded her eponymous jewellery line in 2013, building her business and committing to a culture of kindness, care, innovation and continuous improvement. Since then, her creative and strategic vision has scaled Chupi from a one-woman operation to a luxury jewellery brand that sells into more than 70 countries worldwide. Part of the coveted EY EOY Alumni and a Lead Entrepreneur on the KPMG Enterprise Ireland backed Going for Growth programme, Sweetman is one of Ireland’s leading female founders and is regularly featured in the press. “Chupi has grown with me. I always knew I wanted to create pieces of the future, but it took me time to find my voice. I’ve found it in our community, who look to us to mark some of the biggest moments in their lives. We’re taking the best of that, who we are, forward, and want to take people with us on that journey. That next chapter.” Chupi Sweetman

karen reilly network event

After living abroad for over 20 years, Karen O'Reilly returned to West Cork in 2013, brining with her over two decades of experience in Finance and Management and a desire for flexible work to accommodate her family commitments.  However, her search for such flexibility proved unfruitful.  This struggle highlighted a broader issue:  many parents were exiting the workforce due to the lack of flexible job options.  This realisation sparked the idea of EmployMum and today EmployMum successfully connects skilled professionals seeking flexible work with forward-thinking employers.  This journey of nurturing talent and promoting flexibility led to the expansion of their mission with EmployFlex, reinforcing their commitment to creating a more adaptable and inclusive workforce for all.  Karen recently completed a Masters in Equality, Diversity and Inclusion.
