About Fiona Barry
A graduate of UCC, Dr. Fiona Barry holds an honours degree in Biomedical Sciences and a PhD in Pharmacology. Following several years of postdoctoral research in cardiovascular medicine she altered her career path and undertook a four-year licentiate in Chinese Medicine in the UK, graduating in 2004.
Fiona currently runs a very busy women’s health clinic in Cork, where she has successfully treated thousands of clients over the last 10 years. In addition to her work in clinic Fiona regularly takes part in corporate wellness programmes, presenting on such topics as menopause, female hormonal health and preventing burnout. In 2020 Fiona took on the role of a wellness consultant for the Irish company, Revive Active, and she was one of the key members of the formulation team for their menopause supplement, Meno Active.
