About the speaker Dr. Karen Weekes

Dr Karen Weekes is a performance psychologist working within the corporate and sporting sector. Karen specialises in effective techniques for coping and management within high pressure environments. Her academic research, which includes a PhD and MSc, focused on proactive coping and motivational strategies of elite ultra-endurance athletes. Karen combines this solid base of academic knowledge with her own experiences from numerous ultra-endurance expeditions, which includes rowing 3,000 miles solo, and unsupported, across the Atlantic Ocean. These transferrable self-management tools and techniques prove 100% transferrable to workplace and team environs.
