This special Networking Lunch on 7th October will be a lovely opportunity to hear from three outstanding entrepreneurs while networking over lunch with other women in business.  

The entrepreneurs have all won the Female Entrepreneur of the Year or Rising Star Awards in the network:

The speakers will talk about their stories so far and will share tips for other women in business.   

There will be tea/coffee on arrival and the talks will be followed by lunch of soup, sandwiches and tea/coffee.

SPEAKER PROFILES

Marsha Abrahams, Founder, Boost Beauty Solutions 

Marsha is a qualified CIMA accountant with a passion for helping small businesses in the Beauty industry. She spent many years travelling the globe, several with just a rucksack on her back and then working for international IT companies before she moved to Dublin in 2002 and co-founded and successfully ran operations in a large day spa for 12 years. Wanting to push herself further, she set up Boost Beauty Solutions with Clare O’Hanlon. After winning Entrepreneur of the year in 2016 the business has gone from strength to strength with three brands, Juliette Armand, Storyderm and Grande Cosmetics and is working with over 200 salons in the industry. 

Marsha’s other passion is Scouting, where she represented Ireland last year at the World Scout Jamboree with over 50,000 scouts from around the world and is a First Aid, Camping and Backwoods facilitator. 

Marsha is dedicated to motivating and encouraging women to grow their businesses. She aims to inspire her daughters and provide the next generation of women entrepreneurs with a solid foundation to build upon.

 

Anita Donoghue, Founder, ANNUTRI

Anita is a highly accomplished individual with over two decades of experience in the Hair, Beauty, and Health industry, earning multiple prestigious awards, including Start-up of the Year (LEO) Together with her husband and business partner, Steve, a Master Stylist known for his expertise in hair care, Anita co-founded Hair Cafe eight years ago. Their joint efforts resulted in the creation of ANNUTRI, a well-respected brand offering Hair, Skin, and Nail supplements and products, that have received numerous awards. Recognising the need for effective hair supplements, Anita and Steve launched ANNUTRI in 2020 to provide premium products designed to enhance overall well-being. Their holistic approach to hair and beauty drives ANNUTRI's mission to deliver high-quality supplements tailored optimal hair and skin health, leading to the brand being honoured as the Beauty Brand of the Year by Image Magazine.

 

Rita Smyth, Founder, Role Players for Training

Rita Smyth is the Founder and Creative Director of Role Players for Training.Prior to training as a professional actor, she worked for 15 years as a Human Resources professional with the Bank of Ireland Group, Dublin and London. 

In 2011, following 7 years working freelance as a corporate role player with blue chip organisations and professional firms throughout the UK and Europe, she founded Role Players for Training. Together with her team of associates she supports learning, development, assessment and recruitment through an interactive, experiential approach. 

Her current clients include: Educators at all levels, BIG4 professional firms, financial services, fintech, pharma, medical devices. She also collaborates with training firms, independent trainers and occupational psychologists. 

She has qualifications in HR Management and is a trained Facilitator and Trainer (L&DI). Most recently Rita completed a post graduate Diploma in Personal and Management Coaching at UCC and attained a qualification from the BPS in Ability and Personality Assessment. She is a member of the Association for Coaching and Institute of Directors in Ireland. 

Role Players for Training was short-listed for an IITD National Training Award in the Independent Training Consultancy category and in December 2017 Rita was awarded the 'Rising Star' Award by LEO Dublin City Women in Business Group.
