Cozmotec based in Swords has been named as this year’s winner of the Fingal Enterprise Award for 2025, Local Enterprise Office Fingal (LEO Fingal) has announced.
Cozmotec took the top prize of €5,000 and will progress to represent Fingal at the National Enterprise Awards which will be held in the Mansion House later this year in May.
The judges, Tom Noonan (Chair of judging panel), Margaret Halligan (Enterprise Ireland), and Des McCarthy (Microfinance Ireland), were particularly impressed with Cozmotec. The entrepreneur behind the business is Cuty Gupta, an impressive and inspirational promoter with a vision and drive to make technology accessible to all businesses. Cuty demonstrates a highly innovative approach, understands industry trends and emerging technologies within the global marketplace and has carved out a niche in a highly competitive market. Established in 2022, Cozmotec doubled their turnover last year, and is confident that they will achieve a further 50% growth in 2025. The company is committed to both domestic and international expansion and, having achieved some early export success, has further international contracts in the pipeline. The company has strong prospects for further job creation.
Several Fingal based Firms have achieved success in the National Enterprise Awards over recent years. Last year, PRM Assist Ltd scooped the Dublin Region award, in 2023 Cream of the Crop Ltd won the Green/Sustainability Award. In 2022, Fingal winner Farmony, clinched the Dublin Region award, while other previous National Winners from Fingal included Kianda in Blanchardstown, Keoghs Crisps in Oldtown, Hope Beer in Howth, flight simulation company “Simtech Aviation”, as well as software companies “Vromo” and “IFS Ltd.” from Dublin 15.
The Fingal Enterprise Awards were held as part of Local Enterprise Week which features hundreds of events across the country, run by the 31 Local Enterprise Offices from March 3rd to 7th.
Five other Fingal businesses were also shortlisted this year: Anyscor Ltd (Skerries, Co. Dublin), Gigi Supplements Ltd. (Santry, Dublin 9), Mizz Rio (Ballyboughal, Co. Dublin), The Good Trading and Sourcing Co. Ltd T/A Jack Murphy Clothing (Skerries, Co. Dublin), and Vistona Ltd. (Rush, Co. Dublin).
Announcing the winners and presenting the awards at the ceremony were Mayor of Fingal Cllr. Brian McDonagh, AnnMarie Farrelly (Chief Executive of Fingal County Council), and Oisín Geoghegan (Head of Enterprise, Fingal).

The Fingal Enterprise Awards is an annual competition organised by the Local Enterprise Office with the aim of recognising and showcasing the accomplishments of small businesses. This competition is part of an annual nationwide contest where a single champion from each of the 31 Local Enterprise Offices competes for the National Awards.
The competition is open to internationally trading or manufacturing businesses that have received qualifying grant assistance from Local Enterprise Office Fingal.
