National Women's Enterprise Day - Dublin Region Event
National Women’s Enterprise Day is an annual initiative of the Local Enterprise Offices and is supported by Enterprise Ireland and the Local Authorities Network. National Women's Enterprise Day aims to inspire, activate and assist women across Ireland in running their own business.
This year the Local Enterprise Offices South Dublin is hosting this exciting event for the Dublin region which will highlight the success of female entrepreneurs in Ireland.

The theme of this year's event is 'Local to Global' and it is taking place in the Citywest Hotel on the 18th of October. The programme includes a variety of guest speakers, expert panel discussions, small business case studies, an exhibition of enterprise support agencies, workshops & networking. Hosted by Colette Fitzpatrick it promises to be an inspirational networking event with some fantastic spot prizes on the day!

At the same time her partner was running a Corporate Wear Company, Chiara helped with the business and developed a passion for the industry.In 2010, Uniformal was established the company designs and manufactures Premium Uniform Clothing and Work Wear to the hospitality sector and drinks industry. They developed a unique collection of niche products including hospitality aprons in premium materials. Uniformal very quickly became market leaders in Ireland in this area. By 2016 the business went from local to global. In 2017 with support from LEO they opened a design studio and factory in Dublin bringing all their bespoke production in turnover by 500%. Julie is a member of the Board and Investment Committee of Enterprise Ireland, a member of National Competitiveness Council, and a member of the Investment Committee of the Irish Strategic Investment Fund, part of the National Treasury Management Agency.She is also a Board Member of Social Entrepreneurs Ireland and Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition Limited. |

Oonagh is passionate about retail and is outgoing chairwoman and board member of Retail Excellence Ireland. Oonagh credits the Meaghers digital strategy and social media engagement with the her customers as one of the significant factors in rapidly growing her business both in store and online.Keen to reposition the role of the pharmacist in the Irish Healthcare system Oonagh also holds board positions in the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland and in the School of Pharmacy, Trinity College Dublin as well as positions on the Wholesale Committee at United Drug Group PLC and on the Finance committee at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.
