Learn how to start a podcast in this step-by-step two day workshop that will teach you how to record, edit, and upload, along with all the tools you need to get started.

One in three Irish people listen to a podcast every month, we are famous for our love of storytelling and this is proving to be true for the 21st century’s newest form of the medium which can be listened to while walking the dog or driving the car.

You can use this medium to help grow your business. A podcast gives you the chance to more deeply engage with existing customers and turn them into enthusiastic brand advocates, but it also gives you the opportunity to reach new potential customers who may not know about your company, but are interested in the specific topic of your podcast.

• What are the most popular formats and genres?
• Understanding audio and how to record and edit it
• What hardware and software do you need to get started?
• How to use this technology
• Setting up a room suitable for recording
• How do you find and tell audio stories?

• How do you release your podcast?

Each participant receives comprehensive notes (20 pages), content is worked through during the workshop and then used as a reference as they progress through the world of podcasting. A number of exercises and ‘how to’ demonstrations are included.
