EU JTF Investment Grant-Aid Scheme for Private & Community SMEs

As we are well into the month of May, the countdown is on to ensure that all your regenerative tourism project concepts are submitted through the Expression of Interest application on the Fáilte Ireland Trade Portal. We want to ensure that your tourism experience reaches its full potential.

The deadline for Expression of Interest is the 30th of June Midday. We are here to assist you in ensuring that your project meets the key criteria of the Investment Grant Aid Scheme for Private and Community SMEs. The first stage of that is to ensure you have fully submitted your tourism concept under the relevant category (s). Please reach out if you are having any issues on the wording, criteria, or the sustainability aspect of the scheme. 

Thanks to those who came to the information sessions in April but for those of you that could not get to one of the three information seminars or if you are a novice to the EU Just Transition Funding and want to learn about the  Investment Grant-Aid Scheme for Private & Community SMEs and how you may be eligible, we will be conducting a Webinar where attendees will learn the potential categories of funding that are available to progress/start their tourism experience, The scheme is a great opportunity to support those in improving the quality of the visitor experience with the ambition of attracting more visitors, increasing their dwell time, and securing overnight stays in the region. 

Under the Investment Grant-Aid Scheme for Private & Community SMEs, the following project categories are open for EOI until the 30th of June 2024.

Category 1 – Development or Enhancement of Sustainable Visitor Experiences 

Category 2 – Development of Sustainable Tourist Accommodation

Category 3 – Capital Project Planning & Design

Category 5 – Accessibility enhancements to provide a more inclusive visitor experience.

Registration is essential
