This workshop (divided into two separate sessions) will provide participants with an understanding of operating their website compliantly, to gain an understanding of the threats on the internet and to plan for any type of breach or IT incident.
Workshop 1: Understanding the cyber security risks your business faces:
This online interactive workshop will provide small and micro enterprises with an understanding of the threats on the internet and the simple steps that you can take to protect yourself from those threats.
- What threats do small and micro enterprises face
- How to spot email scams, business email compromise and invoice redirect fraud
- Protecting your network, computers, data and you from viruses and being hacked
Workshop 2 Securing your business from cyber security risks:
This online interactive workshop will provide small and micro enterprises with strategies for securing your business and learning how to plan for any type of breach or IT incident.
- Best practices for passwords and authentication
- Securing your use of the internet, including social media and cloud storage
- Dealing with Ransomware & handling other cyber incidents
