Kilkenny Craft Strategy - Makers’ Engagement Workshop

Kilkenny County Council’s Local Enterprise Office is working with Fáilte Ireland and a Working group of makers in the region to develop a new Craft Strategy for Kilkenny for the next three years. We are working with Karan Thompson Consulting (KTCL) to deliver this plan.

As part of the process we want to hear the views of makers across the city and county, to understand what you consider is required to realise the potential for a sustainable and vibrant craft sector in Kilkenny, one which is accessible to and workable for both citizens and visitors and to maximise the opportunity presented by Kilkenny’s designation by the World Crafts Council as a City and region of Craft.  

We are holding a Makers’ Engagement Event on Tuesday 22 October to provide you the opportunity for you to express your views in person.
