Taxation - How to File Your Tax Return
This course will be delivered over two dates - Tuesdays 8th and 15th October from 9.30am - 12.30pm in the
River Court Hotel, The Bridge John Street, Kilkenny, R95 Y104.
Objective:
The aim of the course is to provider participants with an understanding of the Irish tax system and calculating tax liabilities
Course Content:
- Overview of the Irish tax system.
- Tax registration.
- The Self-Assessment Pay and File System.
- Detailed examination of Income Tax, VAT, RCT and VAT returns.
- Revenue Online System.
- Summary of ways to minimise tax liabilities.
- Revenue audits: How are they conducted? Powers of the revenue inspectors. Rights of the tax payer.
- Outcomes;
- Thorough understanding of the of the Self-Assessment system.
- Participants will have a detailed knowledge on how all tax returns are filed with Revenue through the Self-Assessment system.
- Each individual will be aware of a number of simplified tax techniques that they can use in their own business going forward.
