On March 6th the County Louth Finals of the National Enterprise Awards was held in the Monasterboice Inn. The National Enterprise Awards was introduced in 1997 and recognises the contribution that small businesses make to the Irish economy. The National Enterprise Awards is a national competition run by the former County & City Enterprise Boards since 1998, now the Local Enterprise Offices, and is open to any LEO client that has availed of Measure 1 / other grant aid supports or completed a LEAN programme. The competition was open to manufacturing and internationally traded services businesses in all sectors.

Best Established and Overall County winner Luke Judge and Eveyln Garland of Simply Fit Foods ltd www.simplyfitfood.com
Luke and Evelyn of Simply Fit Foods Ltd will go on to represent the County at the National Final in Dublin in October 2020 where they will compete with County Finalists from across the country. The awards presented on the day were from local artists Els Boghart and Declan Kelly of EDDE Art.
