Guest Speaker - Portia Healy O'Connor:
Portia is the co-founder and CSO of Xelda. Xelda is on a mission to be the finance engine of every SME. Xelda automates getting paid and paying bills and gives SMEs powerful insights into their data. Portia graduated as a scholar and gold medallist from Trinity College having studied Management Science & Information Systems Studies. Portia then moved to London and worked in Goldman Sachs as a EUR Swaps trader before co-founding Xelda with her sister India. The sisters have raised capital from one of the biggest VC’s in the world, Sequoia Capital and the founders of the Irish unicorn Flipdish.

Marie O'Riordan is a distinguished professional with significant achievements in journalism, communications, public relations, and advocacy. Her career has been defined by her enthusiasm for storytelling and documentary-making and her unwavering dedication to promoting diversity, inclusion, and neurodiversity. The Meath Women in Business and Technology network, now in its fourth year, is a joint initiative between County Meath Chamber and the Meath Local Enterprise Office with support from Meta who have been a proud supporter of Meath Women in Business and Technology since its launch in 2020.
The event is open to women professionals from all backgrounds. Attendees can expect an inclusive and welcoming environment that encourages networking and professional development. Renowned women leaders from the business and technology sectors will share their insights, experiences and success stories and there will be an opportunity to ask questions on topics relevant to women in business and tech such as leadership, career advancement, work-life balance etc. Ample time will be dedicated to networking, allowing participants to establish meaningful connections, exchange ideas and explore potential collaborations.
