Join us in Gloster House for National Women in Enterprise event on 17th October 2019. This is a regional event in conjunction with LEO Laois, Longford, Offaly and Westmeath.

Local Enterprise Office Offaly, in partnership with the other Midland Local Enterprise Offices of Laois, Longford and Westmeath is organising National Women’s Enterprise Day 2019 in the beautiful surrounds of Gloster House, Birr
This event which takes place on 17th October celebrates and supports all women in enterprise from these four counties and you are invited to register and secure your place as spaces are limited.
Speakers on the day include:
Colette Twomey of Clonakilty Black Pudding (Keynote Speaker).
Colette Twomey is Managing Director and co-founder of what is known as Clonakilty Food Co. The business has grown from a single butcher’s shop to be one of the best known brands in the Irish food business, supplying Clonakilty black and white pudding, sausages and rashers to multiples, restaurants and shops throughout Ireland, and just recently, the launch of a vegetable pudding, ‘’ Clonakilty Veggie Pudding.’’

Ellen Gunning - Director of Irish Academy of Public Relations
Ellen Gunning MA, MIAPR, FPRII, NUJ is a director of the Irish Academy of Public Relations (www.irishacademy.com), a specialist communications college with 25+ years’ experience of teaching PR, journalism, event management, radio and television, online, in 6 languages, across 50 countries.

Emma Rose Conroy, Euro Stallions (Ambassador)
Dr. Emma-Rose Conroy is a veterinary surgeon with both a First Class Honours Degree and Research Masters in Veterinary Medicine from University College Dublin. She is a specialist in Advanced Equine Reproduction Techniques. She established Euro Stallions (Ireland) Ltd in 2014. Dr. Emma-Rose Conroy will represent the Midlands region in Ireland’s 2019 Best Young Entrepreneur National Final in September.

Anna Marie Delaney, Chief Executive, Offaly County Council
Anna Marie took up the role of Chief Executive of Offaly County Council in February 2016. She has previously held positions with Galway County Council, Midland Regional Authority, Kildare County Council and Laois County Council.

- Louise Lennox - Leading Celebrity Chef
Louise Lennox is one of Ireland’s leading chefs, broadcasters, food writers, and is the co-founder of Foodoppi. Having featured in many popular television and radio shows for over 15 years, she is best known as the chef who is “full of personality” from the hit television series, The Restaurant.

Susan Keogh of Newstalk - MC for the event
Susan Keogh is a familiar voice and face in Irish media, working on both radio and television. The journalist presents her own news and current affairs radio program ‘Newstalk Breakfast’ on Saturday and Sunday mornings. She is also a regular fill-in presenter across the rest of the Newstalk schedule.

The event commences with registration and refreshments at 9:45am and concluded at 1:15pm with lunch being served to all attendees. A cost of €20 applies.
