Wexford's Green Business Conference

Wexford's Green Business Conference

11th November | Wexford County Council offices

GreenSave Conference

‘A Smart Business is a Green Business’

Duncan Stewart, TV personality and presenter of RTE’s Eco-Eye, will tell us  ‘How we can make our businesses energy efficient and sustainable’ when he speaks at Wexford’s first ever Green Conference which will be held in Wexford County Council Offices, Carricklawn, Wexford on Wednesday 11th November.  Sponsored by the EPA and Wexford County Council, and held in association with Econcertive, the Local Enterprise Office and Wexford Chamber, this conference is designed to bring firsthand knowledge on a variety of Green topics to the business people of the South East.

Greening your business can bring great results in terms of reducing costs.  A variety of speakers across all sectors will ensure that you are given every opportunity to deepen your understanding of what benefits can apply to your business.  Maura Bell of The Irish National Heritage Park and Brendan Ennis of the Wexford Enterprise Centre, both of whom have participated in the GreenSave Project, are testament to what ‘greening’ their business did for their bottom lines.  Michael Kelly will speak about ‘Growing food for a healthy, happy and green future’ and John Whelan of ESB eCars will be on hand to enlighten us on ‘Electromobility in Ireland and Europe’.  The new Nissan Leaf will be on show and test drives will be available.

The excitement is already building and we are gearing up for a great GREEN EVENT.  Mark Wednesday 11th November in your calendar  as ‘Busy’ and come along from 10.30 – 3.30.  Renowned sector specific speakers, the best of information and an opportunity to meet with over 100 delegates.

Admission ONLY €25 which includes lunch.
