Course Outline:

This course is aimed at marketers and business owners who want to explore a range of popular and effective online marketing strategies, both free and paid, to more effectively promote their business.  At the end of a session, participants will have a good knowledge of the various strategies available to them in the task of boosting their online presence to promote their business.

Each session will be geared towards the specific needs of the participant, but topics are likely to include the following.

• Techniques to analyse a website and SEO.
• Keyword Research - what it is and how to do it.
• Google Ads - creating an effective low-cost ad campaign
• Google Analytics - how to install it and make sense of the data.
• Facebook - optimising your presence, engaging with people 
• Instagram - images, stories, reels.  Connecting Instagram and Facebook
• LinkedIn - business networking, building connections
• Email Marketing - building your lists, creating effective emails. 

Topics covered will be driven by the needs and current online presence of the individual participant, and will be pitched at a level that suits their ability.  Each participant will receive a check-list of all topics and links to various online resources so that they have the resources to further their learning afterwards.
