A Tax & VAT for Start-Up Businesses course aimed at those who are thinking of setting up a business or have set up in the last 2 years, owner/managers, accounts personnel.

Objectives:
To provide participants with a total understanding of why and how to register for VAT and how to operate the VAT system in a practical manner.

Content:
-     To provide participants with a good basic understanding of the Tax system, profitable income, tax calculations, USC and PRSI.
-     Benefits of sole trader, partnership or Limited Company.
-     How to complete Vat and self-assessment online through ROS
-     Practical advice on registration forms, Vat limits, rates, forms and relevant dates.
-     Advice on tax credits, rates of tax, USC and self-employed PRSI
-     Aids to understand the benefits of self-employment - sole trader, partnership or Limited Company.
-     Participants will have a practical and hands on training session which includes calculations of relevant profits, Vat returns and income tax calculations.

Participants should bring their own calculator
