IBYE - What is it?
The IBYE competition is a national competition to find Ireland’s best young entrepreneur.
Applying is simple and there is a €2 million investment fund and targeted business supports on offer to help you turn your business idea into a reality

IBYE 2016 is open to anybody aged between 18 and 35 with an idea / commercial venture for a start-up or running an existing business.
The competition is open to all sectors.
Competition takes place at county, regional and national levels with substantial financial prizes available for winners and runners up at each level.
In addition, participants are provided with a range of targeted business supports, including mentoring through participation in Business Bootcamps.
There are 3 IBYE categories in 2016:
- Best Business Idea (not yet trading)
- Best Start-Up Business (Up to 36 months)
- Best Established Business (Over 36 months)
