Established in November 1996, the business benefits from a strong and experienced core team who have been with the company since its inception – this has allowed Diorite to expand over the years and build a solid customer base across Ireland and the UK.

From its base in Buncrana, Diorite manufactures, supplies and fits a seamless, non-porous solid surface material to both the commercial and domestic markets. The company is the preferred installer for leading brands including Dupont Corian, LG HI Macs, Samsung Staron, Avonite, Surrell, Durat, Hanex, and Tristone.

Diorite manufactures, supplies and fits two main types of materials: solid surface and engineered stone such as quartz and granite. We supply both the commercial and domestic markets, and our main line of products includes kitchen worktops, vanity units, bar and restaurant countertops, laboratory bench tops, bath and shower surrounds, reception desks, and table tops. Along with aesthetic appeal, our material is targeted at clients with health and safety, hygiene and durability requirements and we pride ourselves on taking innovative design, interior elegance and beauty to a whole new level.

Working closely with Local Enterprise Office Donegal, Diorite secured a Technical Assistance Grant, which enabled the business to explore and develop new market opportunities.
