Brief Programme Description

For those wishing to start their own business Local Enterprise Office – Dublin City offer a three part support programme. This is designed for individuals to obtain and/or develop the necessary skills and knowledge to assess the marketing and financial viability of their business idea/project. 

The Start Your Own Business Package

This programme will provide individuals who are seeking to start their own business with the skills, management tools and expertise in making the right decisions, planning and organising effectively. It will help individuals gauge what will be required in order to keep their new venture running effectively and efficiently.

Part 1: Content

The programme will include Modules on:

• Introduction to Business Planning
• Sales and Marketing
• Employment legislation
• Finance for Enterprise
• Taxation
• Business Plan Development

Part 2: The Business Network:

The Business Network provides practical help & support to all those who have completed the Start Your Own Business programme. Starting a business poses many challenges, lots of planning & decision making not to mention many obstacles along the way. Part 3: Mentoring
