The key objective of this practical, 3 hour workshop is to give you the tools, skills & knowledge to be able to plan, create & manage your social media content using a range of free & low-cost tools.

The Workshop will:

  • Give you the tools, skills and knowledge to be able to create and manage your social media content using a range of free and low-cost tools
  • Help you recognize what content is suitable across all the key channels and ensure it resonates with your customers
  • Provide you with a content planning template and the ability to understand how to use it for your business
  • Assist you with developing their target markets and customer personas which will allow you to create content that will resonate with each customer type

Content covered during the Workshop will include:

  • Understanding the concept of Content Marketing and why it is important to your business
  • Competitor analysis: understanding what your competitors are doing, their content strengths and weaknesses and how it is impacting your competitor’s business and your own business
  • A review of your existing social media content and how it is performing using channel insights and free online tools like Fan Page Karma
  • A walk through the different types of placements for your content e.g. posts, reels, stories
  • The different types of content that can be created – article, infographic, video, carousel posts, image posts, PDF etc
  • Repurposing content – using one piece of content effectively on your key channels
  • Creating customer personas using free online tools like SEMrush Persona Creation tool
  • Understanding your customer’s online journey using the Flywheel model (Attract –Engage – Convert) and how to attract people to your brand at the three key stages
  • Creating content at the three key stages
  • Understanding what a 'campaign conversion funnel' is and how to create one for your business
  • Content pillars: what they are & how to plan your top 10, & splitting them into the three key stages of your customer’s online journey – Attract, Engage & Convert
  • Creating a content calendar using a template provided and online tools
  • Case studies and examples of similar businesses

  • Hands-on using online tools like SEMrush and channel insights
  • Using a template to plan your next 4 weeks’ content
