NEWS: Network of Enterprising Women in South Dublin

Women have long been acknowledged as strong collaborators and communicators, and equally so in the business world, where women are embracing the opportunities to connect with like-minded, supportive female entrepreneurs, and indeed to give guidance and support to others who need our support.

Local Enterprise Office South Dublin have developed a Network of Enterprising Women in South Dublin (NEWS) to facilitate these powerful networking opportunities. The objective is to make it easy for local female business women to develop mutually beneficial relationships with like-minded entrepreneurs. Networking is not all about generating sales leads (although that is helpful!), it is just as important to form supportive relationships with people who are in the same situation as you, perhaps experiencing the same difficulties as you, and who can offer you advice and guidance when you need it, and vice versa.

Over the course of the year we will host a number of events which are intended to address a number of issues facing women in business today. The format of these events will vary and we will make them as fun, informative and engaging as possible. For anyone in business, there are a huge number of time commitments every day and we are conscious of that.

Membership is FREE. By being a member of the Network of Enterprising Women in South Dublin you will have access to events, training and supports throughout the year that will be specifically tailored to meet your needs. Applicants must be trading and located within the South Dublin County Council Administrative area.
