About Kite Design Studios

The Kite Design Studio is a pilot project funded by Waterford City Council and Waterford Local Enterprise office and is part of the 'Viking Triangle Initiative' for Waterford City.

Overview

The 'Kite Design Studios' is situated in the heart of Waterford's Viking Triangle (which is an area that forms a Triangle from the north east corner of Waterford city centre fronting the River Suir to the north, the central retail area to the west and the new Waterford Crystal Factory & Visitor Centre to the South) and is home to a growing group of Irelands top craft designers and artists. This purpose built craft centre houses 5 local craft businesses and boast's a stunning new craft retail unit overlooking Cathedral Square.

The studio offers the very best of Irish Design and Craftsmanship, and welcomes all visitors to view hand crafted works of the highest quality produced on site and meet with the designers in situ. Opening hours: 9am-5.pm, Mon-Sat.
