Introduction

Westmeath Local Enterprise Office was established in 2014 and was previously known as Westmeath County Enterprise Board Ltd. which was established in 1993 to develop and support new and existing enterprises in County Westmeath.  Since 1993, we have provided support to thousands of individuals and businesses in every part of Westmeath.  Whether you are a new or existing business, we may be able to provide support to you.  The focus of our work is with businesses who employ 10 or less employees, and we can support businesses in every sector, including manufacturing, international trade, design and craft, services, retail, childcare and food production.

The core supports provided by Westmeath Local Enterprise Office include :

• Provision of Business Information and Advice
• Business Training
• Encouraging Enterprise Development in County Westmeath

In addition to these core supports, we have also assisted businesses with trade show costs, website development, new product development and research, specialised mentoring, marketing, recruitment, re-location, advice on expansion, networking and sales development.  Each year, approximately 750 people avail of our training courses on a range of business topics.  Staff at Westmeath Local Enterprise Office are always happy to discuss your business idea or to help you with any business query you might have.  It is advisable to make an appointment prior to visiting our offices so we can assure you of time to meet with you and assist you.
