IBYE Image

Longford LEO is looking for dynamic, innovative young business people from anywhere in Longford to enter the Ireland’s Best Young Entrepreneur 2019 competition!

Hosted by Local Enterprise Offices around the country, the nationwide competition is run in conjunction with the Department of Business, Enterprise and Innovation, Enterprise Ireland and the Local Authorities of Ireland. Competition takes place at county, regional and national levels with substantial financial prizes available for winners and runners up at each level.

Longford LEO invites 18-35 year olds with a business idea, a start-up or an established business to enter this fantastic opportunity!

The competition is open to all sectors, application is quick, simple and free of charge. Shortlisted applicants take part in Business Bootcamps and compete in the County Final.

Longford LEO has an investment fund of €50,000 to share between the winners of the Best Business Idea, Best Start-Up and Best-Established Business categories.

From there, the county winners will go on to compete at Regional Finals and, if successful, all the way to the National Finals at Google HQ!

IBYE has an €2 million investment fund and targeted business supports to help your business progress!

There are many great opportunities in entering as IBYE challenges young business people to focus on where their business is now and where they can take it! Applicants receive mentoring, advice and support and are focused on business planning throughout the process. IBYE helps to build a network of local entrepreneurs, with applicants often becoming trusted advisors to each other. IBYE allows the applicant to gain media exposure and heighten the profile of their business.

Application for this year’s competition is now closed, please visit our website or www.ibye.ie for further information how this year’s competition is progressing and for how to enter next year!
