Anne-Marie Tomchak
Longford-raised, London-based Anne-Marie Tomchak is a seasoned broadcaster and editor with an illustrious career at some of the world’s most esteemed media brands, including the BBC, Vogue, and Mashable. With almost two decades of experience, Anne-Marie has been a trailblazer in covering technology and artificial intelligence. Her groundbreaking documentary, 'Game Changer: AI and You,' aired on RTE One in November 2023, garnering widespread acclaim for its insights into the evolving AI landscape.
Anne-Marie's work on data privacy has not only made a significant impact in the media but has also been recognised in education. Her contributions have been included in the Irish curriculum as a learning resource for students and teachers in Junior Cycle.
Anne-Marie wears many hats. She also serves as a climate and tech columnist for the Irish Independent and her work in sustainability has been featured in prestigious publications such as TIME magazine, Glamour, Allbright, and Forbes.
Beyond media and technology, Anne-Marie actively contributes to philanthropic causes. She co-founded ShareJoy, a fashion non-profit selling preloved clothing to raise funds for Pieta. Additionally, she founded DesignTracker, a venture dedicated to helping people decarbonise their homes.
