Christmas marketing: How to market your products and services in the run up to Christmas using digital marketing

Would you like to sell more of your products or services as gifts this Christmas?  In Ireland we typically spend €700 on presents (in total €5 billion) at Christmas and €500 million nationally on gift vouchers.

This Christmas we will all be buying more online. But are you geared up to tap into this Christmas gift market?

Christmas might seem a long way away, but a lot of the digital marketing work needs to start months in advance in order to get found in search engines at Christmas time.

This course will be delivered by Evan Mangan of The Marketing Crowd and will cover: -

  • If you offer a service (e.g., Yoga lessons, Life Coach, Driving Instructor) have you considered packaging this service as a gift?  In this course you will see examples of businesses that are doing this and some tips on how best to do it.
  • How to get your gift products found when people are searching.  If you sell products such as shoes, jewellery, garden products etc. have you thought about grouping some of them as, for example, "Gift ideas for women" "Gift ideas for gardeners" etc. and then create pages on your website that could get found when people are searching on Google or that you can drive people to using social media?  In this course you’ll see examples of businesses that are doing this, and you’ll learn step-by-step what you need to do to get found in Google search.
  • Are you currently offering gift vouchers?  If not, you will learn how you can easily start doing this on your website.
  • How to advertise your gift products on Facebook and Instagram including the best audiences you should be targeting.
  • Tips for creating and designing eye-catching social media posts at Christmas

This course is not for digital marketing trainers/consultants and website designers
