Tipperary County Council provides a number of locations within the county which are designed to enable new and nascent businesses to establish their operations on favorable terms and with the addition of a range of support services from the job creation agencies such as the LEO and the Local Development Company.
Tipperary County Council are involved in the managing of certain industrial units within the county.
In Drangan and Ballingarry, there are three individual units of 1,000 square feet, with own front and rear (full height roller) door access. The function of these units is to provide suitable accommodation for start up enterprises in rural areas where employment and business creation has been challenging in the last few years.
Clonmel Business Development Park contains thirteen units, each with its own front and rear access and in the Tipperary Technology Park, there is a mix of single offices (ranging from 150 – 350 sq.ft.) and three training rooms ranging all around 500 sq.ft. in size. There is an open plan section of the facility at the rear of the building containing 3,000 sq.ft.

Another useful tool for business in Tipperary is the Tipperary County Data Hub which is an inter-agency initiative, started in 2009 to collect and analyse county data and statistics to assist decision making and service delivery.
Its aim is to provide a central portal for information, data, maps and statistics, relevant to Tipperary and is designed in an easy to use format.
The agencies subscribing to the initiative recognise the benefits of sharing data and making it more accessible and in delivering information that is relevant to the services they provide throughout the county.
