This programme aims to demonstrate the way in which to develop this key skill and to practice it in an appropriate manner, both in business and life in general.
Programme Objectives:
- Participants will learn to distinguish between: assertive behaviour, aggressive behaviour & passive behaviour.
- Understand the gains and the dilemmas of being assertive
- Explore Assertive Communication Behaviour – verbal and non-verbal
- Practice the skills which support assertive behaviour
- Think at all times with an assertive mindset and learn to manage emotions in situations in which anger or apathy can arise
- Learning to manage difficult people assertively
