MC: Alison Comyn Alison Comyn is a television and print journalist, broadcaster, and news anchor most recently on air at Sky News and reporter with Mediahuis IRL. She was also news anchor on UTV Ireland's IFTA-winning news and current affairs programmes Ireland Live.
Alison has presented numerous current affairs and entertainment programmes in the UK and Ireland with RTÉ, BBC, Sky News Ireland and Channel 4, as well as covering for Joe Duffy on numerous occasions on Liveline on RTE Radio 1.
She is an experienced MC and moderator, and has chaired the World Employment Conference on four occasions, and hosted events for Bord Gais, University of Limerick, Threshold and Concern.
With over 30 years in the media business, she also runs Alison Comyn Communications, training professionals in communication and presentation skills, public speaking, personal branding and making an impact and lectures in Journalism.
